Coach John

Coach John's passion for baseball and coaching inspired him to create Good Call Sports. He is local to the Saint Cloud/Lake Nona area with his wife and two young kids, and looks forward to sharing his love of sports with this community.

Coach John has enjoyed all things sports since a young age. Growing up in upstate New York, he was a multi-sport athlete with a passion for baseball. He began playing T-Ball at age 5 and continued with baseball through college. He played in the Junior College World Series with Hudson Valley CC and then played first base for the University of Tampa.

After college, Coach John played on multiple competitive rec baseball and softball leagues in the Tampa and Orlando areas. He has coached youth leagues from upstate New York to Cal Ripken Baseball in Orlando, varying from ages 3-12.
